Community Standards
As orkut.com community members you have certain responsibilities to yourselves and to each other. You may not, for example, break any applicable real-world laws. The following guidelines are intended to protect community members’ privacy, legal rights and overall orkut.com experience. Note that these guidelines are not intended to replace the actual Terms of Service for orkut.com but provide additional detail.
Potential Community Standards violations should be reported using the “Report as Bogus” tools located within Profile and Community controls.
Account restrictions:
An account can only be created for a human being and can only be created by the person being depicted.
Only one account can be created for every person.
An account cannot be created by automated means or be used by an automated system to perform actions such as creating new accounts or communities. It is the responsibility of the orkut.com team to make this judgment based on the activity level of the account.
An account cannot contain (in the profile, testimonials, scrapbook entries, etc.) child pornography or material depicting bestiality or snuff. An account also cannot link to this material. An account cannot be used to submit community posts which contain child pornography or material depicting bestiality or snuff. A community post also cannot link to this material. These users will be immediately terminated.
An account cannot upload, transmit or contain material that is hateful or offensive based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
The profile picture for an account cannot contain celebrities (unless of course you are a celebrity).
Images displayed on orkut.com cannot contain nudity or profanity.
An account cannot be used for commercial purposes. The orkut.com service is for personal use only.
An orkut.com account cannot be used to invite another account with the purpose of violating these Community Standards. If the orkut.com team judges that to have occurred, we may suspend or terminate both accounts.
An account which affects the general stability and/ or integrity of the system may be suspended or terminated until the issue can be addressed.
In addition, to create a close-knit, trusted community, we ask that you use your real name in your orkut.com profile. If you have privacy concerns, you might consider abbreviating your first or last name (e.g. John S. or L. Smith). However, your account will not be penalized if you choose not to display your real name.

Cara, tá foda. São centenas de cachorros, gatos, passarinhos, personagens de novela, famosos aletórios, e pessoas que têm peninha de reportar porque “eles não incomodam ninguém”. Não param pra pensar que pra criar uma conta bogus você consome recursos do servidor. Depois ainda reclamam que o site vive dando pau. O pior é que a esmagadora maioria dos bogus que vejo são brasileiros.
Dá até vergonha de ter nascido aqui nessas horas.

Isso é verdade! O usuário brasileiro com mania de querer ser como seu herói, sua fantasia, seu modelo de beleza… hehehehe.
Estamos crescendo lá dentro em quantidade, mas em qualidade eu tenho minhas dúvidas.

Eu acabei de ser “presa” no orkut, e eu não fiz nada!!! Gostaria, por favor, de entender o que é isso, porque isso acontece e como faço pra sair disso
